We are happy to take on everything from residential properties to large-scale industrial projects and stadiums, and indeed our previous portfolio includes sash & case window restoration in Edinburgh homes, and silo painting for Tarmac©.
Deterioration in paint work can be difficult to detect from inside the building or from ground level, so get us along to inspect the building for you. We will provide you with a full picture-annotated report of your building showing you the condition of paintwork in places you cannot see, with our recommendations about what is required to make your building or structure safe again.
Here are some examples of the painting work we have successfully completed.
Residential window and rainwater drainage painting. We were contracted to restore paintwork on these windows, gutters and downpipes. Our skilled technicians prepared the windows by scraping off flaking paint, sanding the timber smooth and removing the dilapidated window mastic (sealing the frames to the stone). They then primed the timber with a specialist undercoat, renewed the mastic to a water-tight finish and applied two coats of gloss to create an attractive and weather-resistant finish. The rainwater drainage features were rubbed down to remove rust and then painted with a weather-resistant black gloss paint.
Silo painting at Tarmac, Edinburgh. Our technicians carried out a full ‘de-scale’ of four silos, removing corroded metal, flaking paint and surface debris before applying a specialist primer and paint. The client was delighted to have the work completed on schedule, with the silos now protected against the weather for at least five years.
